Auction 2024: A Successful Beginning

In October 2024, Art Initiatives hosted its first fundraiser art auction at Roca House, raising essential funds for the One Fine Day Arts Centre in Kibera, Kenya. This event marked a pivotal moment in our mission to support creative projects with a positive social impact. With a curated selection of high-quality artworks, we brought together art lovers and philanthropists in a unique setting to foster both art appreciation and meaningful contributions. The success of this auction is just the beginning, as we continue to build a platform for accessible yet impactful art events.

The Event: A Day to Remember

The auction event held on 6th October 2024 was nothing short of magical. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the seating arrangements that fostered a vibrant energy and meaningful connections among guests, to the seamless flow of the event. The atmosphere was filled with positivity, with attendees leaving feeling inspired and deeply satisfied.

We were honoured to have Krysteen Savane join us and share the impactful work of our partner organisation, Anno’s One Fine Day (AOFD). Her presence allowed our guests to gain a deeper understanding of the projects we are championing in Kibera, Nairobi, further strengthening the bond between our mission and the supporters present.
