Art with purpose. Culture with impact.
Art Initiatives is a cultural platform in Ibiza, founded by Johanna Driest and Zuzana Kopecká. We curate contemporary exhibitions and benefit auctions where artists, collectors and friends share a table, and every hammer that falls supports Anno’s One Fine Day in Nairobi and Espais de Vida here in the Balearic Islands.

The cause
Why we do this
Before Art Initiatives had a name, our founders spent years helping to build Anno’s One Fine Day Arts Centre in Kibera, Nairobi, a place where children dance, paint, tumble and make music every day. Watching what art does for their confidence is what convinced us it deserves a bigger stage.
Every auction we hold raises funds and awareness for that ongoing work, and for a second cause we choose each year here in the Balearic Islands. In 2026 it is Espais de Vida, which turns unused land and buildings into social housing, regenerative farming and cultural space.
