Auction 2026
What you can bid on this year
The catalogue for Negotiating Belonging, our 2026 benefit auction at Juntos House, Ibiza, on 4 October. Every lot supports the artist, Anno’s One Fine Day in Nairobi and Espais de Vida in the Balearic Islands. Place a binding pre-bid on any work now: the highest pre-bid sets the price the lot opens at on the day.
How bidding works
Each lot opens at its starting price. Until the auction begins you can place a binding pre-bid on any work, and the highest pre-bid becomes the price that lot opens at on 4 October.
You can also set a private maximum. If someone bids against you, we raise your bid for you, one step at a time, never above your maximum, so you stay in front without watching the page. If someone goes past your maximum, you are out, released from your bid, and emailed straight away so you can bid again if you wish.
Bids go up in fixed steps: €50 below €1,000, €100 up to €2,000, €200 up to €5,000, €500 up to €10,000, €1,000 up to €20,000, and €2,000 above that. If two maximums are equal, the earlier bid keeps the lead and the other bidder is told at once.
So if you hold the highest pre-bid and nobody in the room goes above it, the work is yours at exactly that amount. Whatever happens online, on the day you can keep bidding in the room, beyond your maximum if you like. Every bid is confirmed by email and governed by our Conditions of Sale.
